NPORS

Plant operator certification

NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) is a widely recognised accreditation body for plant operators. It certifies competence to operate a broad range of construction plant and machinery and is accepted as an alternative to CPCS on many sites.

Requirements

  1. 1Complete NPORS training and assessment for your plant category
  2. 2Pass the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test
  3. 3Achieve NVQ/SVQ to upgrade to a competent operator card
