ECS

Electrotechnical Certification Scheme

The ECS card is the recognised proof of competence for electricians and data communication workers operating within the UK construction industry. Managed by the JIB, it is the electrical industry's equivalent of the CSCS card and is required for site access on most major construction projects.

Requirements

  1. 1Relevant electrical qualification (e.g., AM2, NVQ Level 3)
  2. 2Pass the ECS Health, Safety & Environment Test
  3. 3Current electrical qualifications and certifications
